Kelly is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina. She earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Play Therapy Certificate from University of North Carolina Charlotte in 2023.

With a diverse background working with children, adolescents, and adults, Kelly brings a wealth of experience in addressing a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, academic and career guidance, neurodivergence, grief, trauma, and more. She firmly believes in holistic healing, emphasizing the importance of treating the whole person. Kelly’s approach centers on the individual, as she aligns with the Client-Centered approach, recognizing the uniqueness of each person’s journey.

In her sessions, Kelly employs an eclectic style, integrating techniques from evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. This allows her to tailor treatment plans to suit the specific needs and preferences of her clients, fostering an environment conducive to healing and growth.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Kelly is committed to serving her community, particularly the Asian community, by increasing mental health awareness and accessibility to mental health services. Her upbringing in Vietnam has instilled in her an understanding of cultural nuances and a desire to bridge the gap in mental health support. Kelly is able to offer counseling services in Vietnamese, overcoming language barriers, all while maintaining a deep understanding of cultural relevance.
