Emily Collier, LCMHC-A

Emily is a graduate from Wake Forest University and is currently a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina.  She is passionate about helping individuals who have experienced trauma and are working towards finding their own voice and ability to cope with daily life stressors.

Emily has extensive experience working with birth to 30 years of age with a focus on anxiety, depression, conduct disorder, panic disorder, trauma and other behavioral concerns. Emily enjoys working with children and adolescents using the family system as a unit and individually which lends towards healing and understanding. When working with young children, she uses a play-based approach to meet the child where they are developmentally while using a variety of theoretical orientations and interventions that are personalized to fit each individual.  Emily uses different approaches in therapy to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Emily is focused on creating a safe and open environment where one can be vulnerable and work towards their specific end goals.
