Ashley Dunlap, MSW

For years, Ashley has had a passion for understanding and supporting individuals on a deep emotional level.  While having worked with the developmental stages, family dynamics, and unique needs of younger populations, she is here to work with adults, couples, and those navigating the complexities of aging.  She is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients may explore their emotions, navigate life transitions, and discover their strengths on the path to greater life fulfillment.

Her approach is rooted in empathy, communication, collaboration, and evidence-based practices, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a strengths-based approach to keeping her clients’ emotional and psychological journey a priority.  This fosters the trust her clients have in her as they face their fears and anxieties while healing.  Her therapeutic approach emphasizes compassion, patience, and a holistic understanding of health and well-being.

Ashley earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte and her BA in Human Services at Queens University.  Being married and a mom, Ashley enjoys the gift of having “life experience”, which allows her to relate most effectively with clients who need a therapist to whom they may most successfully relate.
